University of Texas
The Texas Longhorns won their fourth NCAA national championship on June 1, 2022, defeating Arizona State 3-2 in Scottsdale, Ariz. The last time the Longhorns gained a national title was in 2012. Texas also won two in 1971 and 1972 when professional golfers Ben Crenshaw, Tom Kite, Jordan Spieth, and Scottie Schefler played for the school.
Stanford University
The Stanford women's golf team won its second NCAA national championship on May 25, 2022 with a 3-2 win over Oregon in the title match. Arizona State University
Arizona State men's and women's college golf teams are two of the best in the country. Oklahoma State University
Oklahoma State University's men’s golf program has an impressive record — 11 national championships, 55 conference championships, and 10 individual national championships. Bob Tway, Hunter Mahan, and Rickie Fowler are professional golfers who graduated from OSU.
University of Alabama
The University of Alabama men's and women's golf teams consistently rank in the top five by Golfweek. The Crimson Tide golf program has won five SEC Tournament Championships and participated in 23 NCAA Tournaments, advancing to the finals 12 times. Some notable professional players who played for the school are Jerry Pate, Justin Thomas, Cheyenne Knight, and Kathleen Ekey.
University of Florida
The University of Florida golf team was established in 1925 and has won 15 SEC championships and four NCAA national tournament championships.
